Skiing with children and snow activities for the family in Livigno
What do you do in Livigno in winter? Simple: skiing. The snow that falls abundantly since November transforms the valley of Livigno in a huge Ski Area, where you can ski on both sides for over 115 km of ski slopes in total. If your kids are old enough and already know how to ski, you can let them try the less difficult tracks at high altitude in the Mottolino and Carosello3000-Sitas ski areas. If they are still learning to ski, you can try one of the many ski schools for children in the village, in one of Livigno’s ski camps with ski lifts for everyone and ski instructors for the little ones.
And if skiing is not your thing, or if you are simply looking for an alternative to skiing for just one day of your Livigno holiday, you can opt for many other winter sports suitable for the family: snowshoeing – easy excursions in the snow to discover wonderful destinations and views -, ice skating, bobsleighing or a simple walk in the snow on the beaten tracks in the village.
